"Embracing the New, Shaping the Future" - 2024 Newly Recruited Functional Position Personnel Training Session Successfully Concluded
To further assist new employees in swiftly transitioning into their roles and taking their first steps on the career path at Hicorp, Qingdao Hicorp Group organized the 2024 Newly Recruited Functional Position Personnel Training Session on June 27th. The training session was divided into two parts: a symposium and a quality development activity. Chairman Guan Chunyang and Deputy General Manager Chen Xiuyan attended the new employee symposium and delivered speeches.
Chairman Guan, on behalf of all Hicorp employees, extended a warm welcome to the new recruits and, based on his personal work experiences, Hicorp's culture, and the demands of corporate development, put forward four requirements for the newly hired staff:
Blend into the Environment
Chairman Guan emphasized that whether new graduates joining Hicorp straight from university or new employees arriving from other places, everyone should first integrate into the Hicorp environment, adapt to it, and constantly hone, learn, and refine their skills before showcasing their aspirations on the Hicorp platform. He advised new employees to adopt a humble attitude, seek advice, continuously learn and improve, as "only by achieving can one attain a position" and thus have the opportunity to fulfill their aspirations.
Uphold Integrity and Embrace Innovation
"Upholding integrity" means "adhering to the right path and being true to oneself," which is not only a personal requirement but also a corporate imperative. Every Hicorpite must consider "what is right as a human being" before making decisions. Integrity is the foundation of innovation, and innovation is the purpose of integrity. The Chairman stressed that "innovation is in the DNA of Hicorpites," and the collision between young people's work and life outlooks and traditional corporate management methods represents human progress and conceptual innovation, which is also the goal we strive to achieve. At Hicorp, "innovation" means solidly doing the job, and "newness" is about continuous improvement and renewal. Only by constantly innovating can we become trendsetters and avoid being left behind by the times.
Dare to Be the First
"Daring to be the first" starts with the pursuit of perfection. The Chairman encouraged new employees not to be mediocre but to aspire to be leaders, specialists in their fields who are skilled, dedicated, and irreplaceable. Making "daring to be the first" one's aspiration, ideal, and goal is crucial. As an equipment manufacturing enterprise, many of Hicorp's products are industry leaders. Our mission is to "enable Hicorp employees and shareholders to live with dignity and earn respect for Chinese manufacturing worldwide!" This is our goal of "daring to be the first" and our manifestation of "striving to be pioneers." Being a pioneer is the destiny of every Hicorpite.
Bravely Shoulder Responsibilities
Chairman Guan pointed out that Hicorp is not just one person's enterprise but belongs to all Hicorpites and to society. The current era of unprecedented changes in the equipment manufacturing industry poses unprecedented challenges to both enterprises and individuals. The monumental transformations also impose significant demands on the younger generation – to bravely shoulder responsibilities. Hicorp has developed through the efforts of several generations, and the responsibility for future development will inevitably fall on the shoulders of the next generation of management teams, which will be composed of young people. The development of Hicorp Group relies on the support of all young people. This is an excellent era for all of you, and the arrival of young people is well-timed.
The Chairman hopes that all "aspirants" who join Hicorp can seize opportunities, bravely shoulder responsibilities, and achieve great things!
Deputy General Manager Chen Xiuyan, through sharing Hicorp's stories, introduced the importance of corporate culture to new employees. She noted that the essence of corporate culture is "the culture of the leader," and through the Chairman's speech, we can intuitively feel Hicorp's clean and righteous cultural philosophy and values. Hicorp's steady progress and long-term success are inseparable from the Chairman's personal example and the efforts of every ordinary yet extraordinary Hicorpite. Mr. Chen emphasized that new employees should learn to manage themselves and be firm in their inner pursuits. In the workplace, one's personal value, contribution, and company benefits may not always achieve the optimal balance. We can try to shift our focus from pursuing salaries to enhancing our self-worth. Only by diligently learning, working hard, honing our skills, and continuously enriching ourselves can we gain the confidence to make independent choices. The Group Office has invited professional instructors to arrange wonderful quality expansion training for all trainees, breaking down barriers between them, establishing a foundation of mutual trust, and enhancing their cohesion and teamwork capabilities.
"Sailing into Huanqiu" Symposium
During the symposium, new employees learned about the corporate culture of Huanqiu Group and its 58-year development history. Through sharing by senior colleagues, they gained insights into their experiences and unique "growth paths" at Huanqiu. Representatives of new employees freely expressed their thoughts and feelings, sharing their training gains, job insights, interactions with mentors, and the most memorable work reports, as well as their aspirations for future efforts.
The 2024 Functional Position Personnel Training Session of Qingdao Huanqiu Group concluded with interactive exchanges among participants.
